Noel Rice - Chartered Physiotherapist

Noel studied at the University of Brighton and returned to Belfast in 2002 to take up a post at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Whilst at the RVH he worked in a range of clinical areas although the majority of his time there was spent in orthopaedics.

As well as working at the Royal, Noel worked with Banbridge Rugby Team for two seasons, and was also the physiotherapist for the Honduras Special Olympics Team at the World Games in 2003. Since then, he has continued working across a range of sporting disciplines including gaelic football, hurling and soccer in the Greater Belfast and South Down areas.

Noel joined the staff of belfast physio and sports injuries clinic in July 2004 and has since become the owner of the clinic.

 

 

 

noeleen gorman BSc (Hons) HPC MSOM Chartered Physiotherapist 

Noeleen studied at the University of Ulster Jordanstown and began work at Daisy Hill hospital in 2003. Whilst at Daisy Hill hospital she work a range of clinical areas for 5 years. Noeleen then moved to the Belfast Trust where she specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

As well as working at Daisy Hill hospital, Noeleen worked with Banbridge football club, helped at the special olympics; worked with the junior international squad for northern ireland and down at the milk cup. More recently Noeleen has been working with the Armagh ladies Gaelic football team.


Noeleen joined the staff of belfast physio & sports injuries clinic in May 2009.

 


 

                                 

 
eunan carr BSc(Hons) MMedSc CMS PGDipHSSM CBiol MIBiol

As Practice Manager. Eúnan's role is to oversee the operation of all of the non-clinical aspects of belfast physio & sports injuries clinic.

Eúnan is a medical sciences graduate of Queen's University, and is a Chartered Biologist by training. Following a spell in medical research, he worked for 15 years in various senior management positions in the NHS, including a period as Business Manager at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children and 3 years leading the project to build a new hospital in Downpatrick to replace the Downe.

Eúnan left the NHS in 2007, and in addition to his role in belfast physio he also works part-time in his own small management consultancy, Signum Public Sector Consulting. Mark Clarke - Massage Therapist

Mark specialises in deep tissue massage, which is now deemed a key necessity for all competitive sports and general rehabilitation. It has been proven to be effective in preventing injuries which could otherwise hinder performance and competing.

Mark has experience in working with a wide range of disciplines including martial arts, dancing, cycling and running. He has had the benefit of working and traveling with football teams, at both club and county level.

 Roisin is a State Registered Podiatrist / Chiropodist with more than 20 years NHS and private practice experience across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Specialising in general footcare, orthotics and nail surgery for all ages and medical histories, Roisin opened her private practice in South Belfast in September 2008. She also continues to work part time in the NHS.
